AJK MINISTER VISITS KCEU IN BRUSSELS

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Minister for Tourism and Civil Security, Abul Salam Butt, met the Chairman Kashmir Council European Union (KCEU), Ali Raza Syed, in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.

According to Media sources, the Minister, who is on a visit to Europe, was specially invited to Brussels by members of Pakistani and Kashmiri communities. He particularly met the Chairman of KCEU and discussed situation of Kashmir with him.
 
Abdul Salam also visited the Kashmir’s Documentation and Resource Centre in Brussels where he was briefed by Ali Raza Syed about the objectives of the centre.

They also discussed situation in the region particularly in occupied Kashmir after election of Narendra Modi as new Prime Minister of India. They also viewed new possible strategy for raising Kashmir issue at the international level.

The AJK Minister hailed the KCEU for highlighting the Kashmir dispute and said that the efforts of office-bearers of the Council in collaboration with European human rights organisations and think-tanks were highly appreciable.

He said, the AJK government would cooperate with the KCEU for raising the Kashmir dispute at the international forums so that people of Kashmir could get liberation from the Indian occupation.
