No to all elections, only right to self determination

Calling for a complete shutdown across IOK on Saturday against the first phase of farcical Panchayat polls, the Joint Resistance Leadership has said holding elections under the shadow of gun is a meaningless exercise and nothing but another attempt to mislead the world about the prevailing grim situation in the territory. The JRL said the near total rejection of the recently held local bodies’ polls has sent a crystal clear message to the Indian rulers that the IOK people reject New Delhi’s forcible control of their homeland. It said the Kahsmiris’ demand and slogan is only one: No to all elections, only right to self-determination. The phase-wise Panchayat elections would be held in the territory between 17th November and 11th December, this year.
