Hurriyat leaders including Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi and Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori have felicitated the Muslims across the world particularly the Kashmiris on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to media sources, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in his Eid message said, although Eid is a day of happiness and blessings but the Kashmiris have so far missed the real spirit of this day because of the atrocities and the cruel behavior of the Indian forces against them during the past seven decades. He said, it will be the real Eid for the Kashmiri people when Jammu and Kashmir will be freed from the Indian occupation.
Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi appealed to the Kashmiris to celebrate Eid with austerity and remember the families, orphans and widows of those who have sacrificed their precious lives for better future of their people. He also paid rich tributes to the illegally detained pro-freedom leaders, activists and youth and prayed for their good health.
The illegally detained Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in his Eid message from Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu said that the real Eid for the Kashmiris would be when they achieved freedom from Indian yoke. He asked the people to celebrate Eid with simplicity and share the joys of this occasion with the families of martyrs, detainees and other victims of Indian state terrorism.
Other Hurriyet leaders including Muhammad Shafi Reshi, Sajjad Ayubi Maulana Sibt Muhammad Shabbir Qummi, Maulana Shabbir Ahmed Sofi, Agha Syed Yasoob Al-Moosvi and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat in their statements also asked the Kashmiri people to celebrate Eid with austerity.
