In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed on the second consecutive day, today, in Shopian to mourn the killing of a student, Aadil Farooq Magray.
According to media sources, Shopian town and its adjoining areas in south Kashmir remain shut on the second successive day, today, to mourn the killing of Aadil Farooq Magray who was shot dead by Indian forces on Tuesday. All shops and business establishments are closed in the town and its adjacent areas. The puppet authorities have deployed Indian police and troops in strength in Shopian to prevent people from staging demonstrations against Aadil’s cold-blooded murder. Aadil Farooq Magray, a 12th class student, was killed after Indian forces’ personnel opened fire to disperse protesters during a siege and search operation in Ganawpora area of the district on Tuesday evening.
