Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, today, visited SMHS hospital in Srinagar and enquired about the health condition of a youth, Sameer Ahmad, who was hit by a police shell in Mattan area of Islamabad district, last month.
According to media sources, Muhammad Yasin Malik prayed for the early recovery of the innocent victim of Indian state terrorism. Sameer Ahmad is still on a ventilator in the hospital. Yasin Malik was accompanied by JKLF Zonal President Noor Muhammad Kalwal and Ashraf Bin Salam. He met the family of Sameer expressed solidarity with them. The JKLF Chairman strongly condemned the police assault on a martyr’s family in Kaimoh Kulgam and termed it as a glaring example of police terrorism in Kashmir. He paid rich tributes to Yasir Rasool Zahgeer on his martyrdom anniversary. Recalling the sacrifices of Yasir and his family, Yasin Malik said that Yasir and his father Ghulam Rasool Zahgeer’s contribution to freedom movement had been exemplary.
