Tributes Paid To Molvi Farooq, Khawaja Lone, Hawal Martyrs.

Image may contain: one or more people and people standingAll Parties Hurriyet Conference General Secretary, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, and other Hurriyet leaders have paid rich tributes to prominent martyred resistance leaders, Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq, Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone, and Hawal martyrs.

According to media sources, Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “The world cannot turn away its eyes from Kashmir dispute and its people’s legitimate struggle for right to self-determination will continue till complete success.”

He said that best and worst times in freedom movements were natural phenomena but history was witness that the nation, which remained steadfast and committed to its goal, eventually succeeded.

Reiterating his stand over freedom movement, Shabbir Shah said that this path was full of hardships and the goal was achieved only after passing through difficult phases. He said, the example of Indian forces’ brutality is hard to be found in history. “We have to continuously raise our voice against the Indian brutalities,” he added.

Meanwhile, Hurriyet leaders, Jehangir Ghani Butt, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash and Wajahat Bashir Qureshi have paid homage to Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq, Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone and martyrs of Hawal.

Jehangir Ghani Butt talking to different delegations in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would bring fruit and the people of Kashmir would get rid of Indian bondages soon.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement in Srinagar said, “We are indebted to the sacrifices of these great martyrs and are committed to take their mission forward till it reaches its logical conclusion.”

Wajahat Bashir Qureshi in his statement in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs.

It is worth mentioning here that Mirwaiz Molvi Muhammad Farooq was shot dead by unidentified gunmen after barging into his residence in Srinagar on 21st May in 1990. On the same day, seventy mourners were killed when Indian troops opened indiscriminate fire his funeral procession in Hawal area of Srinagar. On the same day in 2002, Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone was martyred by unknown attackers, when he was returning from addressing a gathering at Mazar-e-Shuhada in Srinagar.
