Mirwaiz Vows To Resist Anti-Kashmir Policies at All Costs

Chairman of his own Hurriyet forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that said the entire Hurriyet leadership has a clear stand against the anti-Kashmir and anti-people policies aimed at harming the interests of Kashmiri people.

According to media source, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said that changing the demographic character of the territory or diluting the disputed nature of Jammu and Kashmir would be resisted with complete determination and unity. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said, the united approach of Hurriyet leadership has unnerved the Indian government and its local collaborators.  “The authorities have lost the courage to fight us politically. Shifting Muhammad Yasin Malik to Central jail, putting Gilani sahib under continuous arrest and restricting my movement shows frustration of the authorities. I want to maintain that despite all curbs, we would take joint stand on issues concerning Kashmiris and resist tooth and nail the anti-Kashmir policies,” Mirwaiz said. The Mirwaiz termed the statement of puppet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on establishing colonies for Kashmir Pandits and Sainiks as ambiguous. “The statement has created confusion,” he added.  Meanwhile, his forum in a statement denounced the continued house arrest of its Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
